Independence Day celebration organized at the National Informatics Centre, Haryana.

The 80th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour at the Haryana State Unit of the National Informatics Centre (NIC). The programme commenced with the singing of the National Song, followed by the National Anthem by all the officers and employees present.

On the occasion, State Informatics Officer Shri Sarabjit Singh highlighted the significance of independence and emphasized that freedom can be sustained only when rules and regulations are followed honestly and responsibly. Senior officers of the office also remembered the invaluable contributions and sacrifices of the great freedom fighters and nation-builders. In their addresses, they highlighted the importance of the country’s independence, the values enshrined in the Constitution, and the responsibility of every citizen and employee towards the progress of the nation.

During the event, officers and employees presented a variety of patriotic performances, including patriotic songs, self-composed poems, and interesting anecdotes. These performances created an atmosphere of enthusiasm and national pride throughout the office premises. The programme further strengthened the spirit of patriotism, unity, dedication to duty, and commitment to the nation among all those present.

All arrangements for the programme were successfully and efficiently coordinated by the Welfare Committee, including office decoration, preparation and conduct of the programme, refreshments, and other related activities. A tree plantation drive was also organized ahead of Independence Day, and the saplings planted on the occasion became living witnesses to the celebration of the 80th Independence Day.

The event concluded with a pledge by all officers and employees to discharge their responsibilities towards the national interest with utmost dedication, sincerity, and honesty.
