2-Day Zonal Workshop on eTransport – eTRANS-2025 conducted at Hotel Mount View, Chandigarh

NIC in collaboration with the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH) organized a 2-day zonal workshop titled “eTRANS-2025” from June 16-17, 2025 at Hotel Mount View, Chandigarh. Representatives from 12 states and union territories: Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and Delhi attended the workshop.

The workshop was inaugurated by Shri Anil Vij, Hon’ble Minister of Transport, Power and Labour, Government of Haryana. The inaugural session commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp ceremony, followed by the felicitation of dignitaries. A warm welcome address was delivered by Shri Joydeep Shome, Deputy Director General & HoG, eTransport, NIC HQ.

The opening remark was given by Shri Inder Pal Singh Sethi, Deputy Director General & State coordinator for Haryana emphasized on need and importance of the eTransport workshop. He stated that e-Transport system is a critical component of digital governance, aimed at transforming the transport sector by integrating technology-driven solutions. More Detail
