Review Meeting by Shri Inder Pal Singh Sethi, DDG and State Coordinator for NIC Haryana, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh on 19/09/2025 at Haryana Niwas, Chandigarh
Shri Inder Pal Singh Sethi, Deputy Director General (DDG), National Informatics Centre (NIC) and State Coordinator for NIC Haryana, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh visited Chandigarh on 19th September 2025 to review the ongoing IT initiatives undertaken by NIC Haryana, NIC Punjab & NIC Himachal Pradesh State Centre.
On his arrival, Shri Sethi was accorded a warm welcome by Shri Sarbjeet Singh, DDG & State Informatics Officer (SIO), NIC Haryana, Shri Vivek Verma, DDG & SIO, NIC Punjab and Shri Ajay Singh Chahal, DDG & SIO, NIC, Himachal Pradesh.
During the review meeting, Shri Sethi held detailed interactions with NIC officers from all three states and reviewed various key ICT projects implemented across Haryana, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh. He also connected with NIC District Centres of all the three states through Video Conferencing, facilitating an inclusive and comprehensive discussion.
Shri Sethi appreciated the dedication and contributions of NIC Haryana, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh in implementing digital initiatives that support governance and public service delivery. He acknowledged the impact of their efforts in driving digital transformation at the state and district levels.
He also shared his broader vision of a citizen-centric digital ecosystem. Emphasizing the importance of emerging technologies, he underscored NIC’s role in enabling transparent, efficient, and responsive governance. Shri Sethi reiterated the need to harness technology to deliver seamless government services, promote digital literacy, and ensure inclusive growth across all sections of society.
The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment from the NIC teams to continue their efforts in driving digital innovation and supporting e-Governance initiatives across the states.
